I will start by saying that PayTM has the Majority of India's online money, through its payment gateway. Most transactions in the country happen through PayTM, and then everyone else stands a distant 2nd.
I have had issues with being locked out of my PayTM account for the last 2 weeks, and have tried to figure out why it is Not Allowing me to login. It states some cyptic reason, being that either the sign-in OR password is incorrect. I attempted to regenerate passwords, over 10 times, in the last 2 weeks, and nothing happened. Then I spoke with a customer care excutive who spent almost 20 Minutes telling me he has NO IDEA what was wrong. I finally asked him to connect me to his senior or someone who knew what could be the reason, and after waiting endlessly, he asked me to CALL BACK AGAIN.
I usually make payments to PayTM, and have also transferred money to friends and family too. Shockingly, I have over Rs, 500, which is still stuck with PayTM. I should thank my stars that this amount is not in the thousands.
Just imagine, that one random day, you are locked outside your Payment App, for NO KNOWN reason, and the Customer Care services are Unable to Figure out the reason, and after making you wait for Long, they ask you to CALL BACK LATER, because they are so dumb, that they have NO IDEA what could be wrong.
VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE and shocking manner of handling India's BIGGEST PAYMENTS APP.
