?Patalghar? or ?The underground chamber?
Director: - Abhijeet Chowdhury
In our country juvenile movies are very much rare. Any producer never thinks to
Make a big budget juvenile film. But in Tollywood (Kolkata), there exist some brave producers to make a juvenile film of budget of above rupees one crore.
This movie is completely a juvenile movie with a strong script and direction. Abhijeet
Chowdhury is not amongst the frontline directors of Tollywood. But in this movie
he has proved many things. Cameraman Abhik Mukherjee is one of the leading cameraman of our country and he has again proved this.
I believe to write a good review about films, story description is not necessary. This
movie is based on a novel of Sirshendu Mukherjee who now a days is the best author of
Bengali literature.
This movie is a beautiful mixture of fun, mystery and adventure. The actors, actresses everyone has given their best. Though it?s a big budget movie, the director hasn?t taken any hero from the Bollywood as well as from Tollywood. He just went with good compact actor like Kharaj Mukherjee and Tollywood legend Soumitra Chatterjee.
The 12 year boy did a splendid job in this film. Biplab Chatterjee an eminent artist of Tollygunge film industry did the part of People of other planet Vik, another legend from Bengal theatre Ramaprasad Banik, from bollywood Mita Basist became the villain.
Patalghar is not worse than any Harry Potter film in any quality, rather its story is much better than any Harry Potter movie.
You may think it as a joke but it?s a big truth.
The music, lyrics of this movie is pretty good appropriate with the script. Srikanto Acharya, Kharaj Mukherjee, Swapan Basu has done a tremendous job with such golden https://lyrics.
Above all it?s a must see movie for those also who don?t know Bengali, the English caption of the dialogues will help them.
