PARLE KRACKJACK - AN ANALYSIS AND FIRST HAND COMMENTARY
Like the legendary quote by Samuel Johnson, which stated , He who does not mind his belly will hardly will hardly mind anything else., I am a person minding my belly a lot and it definitely shows. I am a non-stop eater when it comes to snacks, as I am a major snacks fan. I devour a lot of them. One may wonder if I am a glutton, when I eat snacks. For once, they are right. I am a glutton when it comes to snacks. Some snacks are so tasty and addictive that you remember the taste when you think of the name itself. One such item is ''krackjack''. The name brings back memories of childhood and the carefree days. <<SIGH>>. I could still remember those days when my dad used to get a pack of biscuits on a fairly regular basis, when he returned from work; and how we (my sisters and myself) used to finish off these biscuit packets in a flash. It was always tougher to hide the taste and I used to have Brittania Milk Bikies with coffee or Milk and I always took Krackjack separately. Things were changed as I grew up but my love affair with Milk Bikies and Krackjack continued all along.
I have tasted many biscuits over the years and I still love this biscuit like anything. Whenever I am back in my motherland, I make sure I eat as many Krackjacks as possible. The reasons are simple.
¤ It is delicious
¤ ¤ It is yummy
¤ ¤ ¤ It is tasty.
¤ ¤ ¤ ¤ Mysterious feeling on your tongue when you eat it
The main thing about this biscuit is the real taste it gives to you. The mysterious salt and sour taste has given it some 14 international awards. This is quite some achievement by a biscuit from India. No other biscuit has won so many awards compared to Parle Krackjack.
What are the times you can have this biscuit. Well, well, well. You can have them anytime you want. It is always nicer to have these biscuits in the evening, after a tiring day with a great cup of coffee or masala tea, with a soothing music at a comfortable volume with your legs relaxed in a couch/sofa or chair. You sip, you bite, you sip, you bite while you enjoy the music. Try it! it is heavenly. I have done it many times.
Try krackjack with an application of peanut butter cream/chocolate or any cream you like. Make a sandwich of the biscuit and eat it. I am sure you will love it, if you like Krackjack and the cream you are using it. If you like cream and cherry, put the cream on top of a biscuit, cherry at the top and take a bite. It will be quite something. Let me tell you it is indeed nice.
Krackjack with a cup of fresh hot milk is another excellent choice and you can always relish them both. The freshness of milk and crispiness of the biscuit will make you devour increasingly.

PARLE KRACKJACK - AND COMPETITORS
Parle enjoys about 40% market share in India, when it comes to biscuits, largely due to its most popular Parle-G. Krackjack has two major competitors and one of them if from the same stable, Monaco. The other one being Brittania 50-50. I have tasted all of them and Krackjack scores over all of them. This is purely my observation. It scores over both od them in the following
¤ Crispiness
¤ ¤ Aroma
¤ ¤ ¤ Taste
¤ ¤ ¤ ¤ Feeling of freshness when you open the pack
¤ ¤ ¤ ¤ ¤ Cost-wise both are competitive
While Monaco is lesser known compared to 50-50 and Krackjack due to lesser advertisements, I feel Krackjack is the best of the lot. I did like the Ritz crackers in US but it was nowhere close to Krackjack or even 50-50, when it came to tastiness and personal preference.

CONCLUSION
Parle KrackJack is a great biscuit and will remain so, unless something with tremendous taste and mysteriousness comes and changes them. It’s price is remarkably low, in these times and its taste is unbeatable. You have many options to try out also, if you would like to.KRACKJACK is my favorite and I recommend it strongly. I wish you happy krackjacking. I give TWO THUMBS UP to KRACKJACK.
I hope you liked my review. Do RRC if time permits
