Pantaloons being one of our (Indians in mid to bigger cities) common shopping destination, am sure that many of you have bought something either for you or your family from them. I have never been a big fan of products under the banner 'Future Group'. I agree that they try to sell at a good price but doing so they have compromised on quality too from their very early days. Only exception to this brigade was Pantaloons.
However, off late I seen a drop in quality of clothes been bought from Pantaloons. I don't know whether anyone of you have noticed this or am I too critical? I have seen the same brands (big ones - LeepCooper, Turtle, Arrow, etc) inferior quality when bought from pantaloons as compared to their respective company showrooms. I have seen the difference in fit (for same size), quality of stitching, and other aspects of the apparel. I have started to somehow feel that 'Future Group' to instruct these companies to make those apparels specifically for them at a lesser cost, so that they can keep a bigger margin. And in doing so companies like LeeCooper & etc compromise on quality. Its as simple as that the more honey you put the more sweeter it gets. But who are the looser in this case. Off course, we the customers. Even though we pay same at both places but we get a inferior quality in Pantaloons.
I would like to hear from others, whether they also have experienced the same or is it just my bad luck.
