I have been a long time Panasonic user, who has had had almost aIl former GH Models(Panasonic GH2, GH3 and GH4). I recently bought a Panasonic GX85 and I have regretted my decision even now. This despite owning almost every former GH Cameras(As Mentioned Abive). The GX85 has some issues with the sensor and Panasonic India were completely lost. Unfortunately they have a SINGLE GUY in charge of all queries in Customer Care(email), a named Manjeet. Unfortunately for him, he only types standard form replies, without knowing anything about any products(to be honest, can anyone blame the poor guy), especially what a Mirrorless or ILCS( Interchangeable Lens Cameras)or even Digital Camera is.

Shockingly, Panasonic India does Not Respect their own International Warranty. This Despite having an Internal Warranty on their Camera(and many other products). And, Panasonic India has terrible customer service. One of the worst, barring none.

While they have some great Mirrorless ILCs, they don't respect their own international warranties and they also have no clue as to how to service their own cameras.

Canon and Nikon(and recently Sony) have an excellent dealer network in India, and great after sales. Panasonic has some good products(most of which don't, unfortunately, make it to India)but terrible distributorship and Absolutely Nightmarish after sales/ service network. So, if for whatever reason, any of their cameras has any issues, regardless of how minor it is, Panasonic India won't service it. So, your camera, basically, becomes an expensive dud.

Therefore AVOIDABLE.
