Buying a Panasonic product is a pain. My BP shot upto 300 just trying to find out where to order it! After reading a few reviews found out that the best sub 20000 cam would be the Panasonic GS 35. That was the easy part. So, you think going to nationalpanasonicindia.com should offer all answers. Dead Wrong. For starters, there is no contact information. No way you can contact them directly. Besides the product information is all of three lines and the brochure download link is a dud. So you decide to use the global link. Click there, and the page is under construction. The Global Panasonic page is under construction. Unbelieveable! Do a google and go to the US site. Think you can put in your question there? Think again. The link will take you back to the idiotic Indian site. Try searching for any dealers/service centers in any city - zilch. The point is if buying it is this irritating, it is easy to fathom how the after sales support will be. For a company of that size, hiding behind a incompetent website is disasterous. To boot, the site is maintined by Sify Limited. Apparently, they were not paid in full, hence midway they to ceased to use their brain and enlighten the clients on the basics of website building. Moral : No Panasonic for me.
