I bought ELX 1.2 a month back after doing months of extensive research on the net. The Dealer for chennai is Sundaram Motors.They were quite friendly and helpful.
But the day I bought my vehicle, I filled in a tank full of fuel, and realised that there was a leak in the Fuel tank.
I called up the emergency number, they responded quite quickly, they came in about 20 min after I called them and changed the fuel tank.
Now about the car:
The car is value for money. the milage is modest.Upholstery is passe.The real problem is while sitting behind the wheel, u cannot see where ur car ends, i.e , the Bonnet is not completely visible while driving, this create a problem while Maneuvering in congested localities.Also, while taking a U turn the car kinda takes a Loong U turn..(they say it has something to do with the wheel base,radius)
So, these are my observation after a months driving a Palio.Will keep u guys updated if and when something interesting crops up...
