I have watched this film PADMAAVAT yesterday.This is a DRAMA, PERIOD & ROMAMCE film directed by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.
This is based on Historical Relations of Rajputs Rawal Ratan Singh and Padmaavati with Alaauddin Khilji.
STORY :
The movie starts with showing Jallaluddin Khilji ruling on delhi.Jallaluddin's one trustable man Alaauddin Khilji is there and he proposed to marry with Jallaluddin's daughter._ on the other side Ratal Rawal Singh, while visiting to a Rajput emperror's place meets Padmaavati and he falls in love with her.Now they got married and came to his palace._ Here is a Brahamin who illegally saw Ratan Rawal Singh and Padmavaati romancing in there quality time.So he got fired from here._ He went to Alaauddin Khilji and tell him that how much Padmavaati is beautiful.Alaauddin decided to get Padmavaati, he sent a invitation to Ratan Rawal Singh to come at his palace to meet him but he ignored his invitation._ Alaauddin is all set for war but at the ocassion of Holi, he again send a proposal to meet Ratan Rawal Singh and now it is approved, and now he meet him._ Here he demands to see Padmavaati, and she has shown to him for just a while in a mirror._ now Alaauddin invites Ratan Singh at his place and when he went there, he jailed Ratan Singh but Padmavaati managed to get back him safe from there with the help of Alaauddin's wife._ now there is war started between them in which Ratan Singh got killed by them.Alaauddin went to catch Padmavaati but she inspires all other ladies there for doind JOHAR instead of being harressed by Alaauddin._ hence, movie ends with it.
ACTING :
Alaauddin is played by Ranveer Singh, he did his best to it and I loved his performance.Everyone is also prasing him for his extraa ordinary acting._ Ratan Singh is played by Shahid Kapoor, he also did complete justice to his role._ Pamavaati is played by Deepika Padukone, she performed very well and did a good acting.
MUSIC :
Music is by Sanjay Leela Bhansali.Songs like GHOOMAR is trending as it is very good lyrics and sung beautifully by Shreya Ghoshal.Other songs like BINTE DIL, KHALIBALI are also nice to listen.
PLOT, CINEMATOGRAPHY & SCREENPLAY :
Plot is plotted in awesome way as the sets or loactions are preety good.Cinematography is also done nicely.Screenplay has a very deep understanding of every role and narreted very good by the director.
BOX OFFICE COLLECTION :
Upto now the movie has already earned a very good amount approximately 160 CRORES in India and 300 CRORES in overseas.
At last, I am suggesting to go and watch the film as it is completely money worthy.
