Story:

I am a romantic novels and films freak. I just love the idea of falling in love and I can totally sink in the feelings depicted in the novel.

I read this novel after watching the movie(who misses Hilary Swank and Gerard Butler together??) but that didn't stop me from reading the novel and getting on to the emotional roller-coaster. The book is well written, the story is not too long or short, just apt for a great read and lots of tears. The book is about two lovers Gerry and Holly who are married and then Gerry dies and he leave a series of letters for Holly to help her cope with the tragedy and get back her life. The story is simple and sweet and not at all unpredictable. In fact you must have seen many movies on the same plot where one of them gives strength to the other through any means. The only reason why this book is different and special is because it makes you feel for Holly, you feel as if you are going through the same thing.

The book is a treat for romantics like me. Try to read it even if you have watched the movie, the book has more emotions than the movie. The book feels more real and maybe you will also shed some tears. Beautifully written and now one of my favourites romantic novels.
