I have booked this trip for my Friend & family(tota 9 Guest) for 8N/9D from OYO Total Holidays, package id is: TH-HKJQ6913. Pkg Cost: INR 1, 42, 000/-


This was my worst booking experience ever I booked for someone. I booked this package with OYO on 23Sep2019 and trip start date was 29/10/2019, more then 1 month before. There was no day when I did not abused from my friend and his parents because of OYO operation team mistakes, misleading and misbehavior. It was committed by OYO sales person Mr Umang Garg that all stays would be 4-start category, Breakfast/Dinner buffet(veg/Non-veg) included on all location and Transport facility would be available for all locations mentioned on voucher for entire trip during pickup to drop.


Following are few major issues with this OYO package:-


1) OYO releasing Final voucher few days before trip start when you done complete payment. In my case after whole payment done they shared final voucher without child information on it.(3 child were missing). When I complaint about this and refer them booking voucher, they released new updated final voucher this time.


2) After starts of trip first Hotel stay in Shimla(Sevilla Grand Naldehra) was 18KM away from Shimla town into a Jungle. Guest afraid to go there and I started receiving complaint calls from them from day one. Anyhow they have to stay over there because it was already 2200HRS.


3) On Day2, I drop a mail to OYO operation team to manage all upcoming stay sighting and all these, but no one replied. I asked to manage Manikaran and Rohtang Trip without any hitch. But on Day3 Driver denied to go for Rohtang. He demanded extra payment for it Rs 6000/-. This was ridiculous, OYO cheated me every where. I followed up OYO customer care, dropped mails and talked continuous 2 days but no one help out. I have to pay Rs 5000/- by Paytm transfer to driver then he agree to go there. I have proof of this payment and Whatsup talk and voice recording of all these.


4) On Day7, This was limit of worst management/quality of OYO that when guest reached on Hotel Mohan Palace(Dalhousie) for check-in, hotel clearly denied any such booking. The manager said that they never take any booking from OYO. I was surprised how they booked this hotel when hotel not excepting booking from OYO? Very disappointing, guest reached hotel after travelling around 150KM with 3 little children and old age parents and unloaded all baggage, on reception hotel not allowed for checkin, imagine what feelings comes in your mind in this situation. As usual again I called OYO customer care which answered every time after 15-20 minute waits. They informed that this was mistake from there operational team, your booking is with different hotel. They informed me this after 20 minute wait time. I am sure they have booked this new cheap quality 2-Star hotel after my complaint only. I have paid amount for 4-Star hotels. They have served very low quality food in dinner that too only Veg(Dhaba type). I have paid huge amount for all these. When I asked them to refund me amount paid for stay in Dalhousie, I will manage my self, they denied for this and refused for any refund.


I recommend never book any Holiday Package through OYO domestic/International because after booking they will not help on any point and may cheat you on any level. This is my personal experience not only for this booking but similarly another which I booked on same time for Goa(Pkg ID: QQNE9946). Thank god there only one property booked but this time Pick-up and drop not done by transporter. I have call recording of transporter in which he clearly denying for availability of any free Vehicle. Suppose this kind of service OYO is providing.


This is my personal experience and suggestion to all travel Lover never to book any Holiday Package through OYO as their service/commitment/management/facilities everything is worst quality, you have to adjust everywhere, they will not. No email response, you cant think about any kind of help/refund from OYO.


Yes use OYO when you want a cheap type and low budget stay where you need budgetary hotel/stay.
