We found Orion mall very convenient to walk up and shop. Of late the management has made life hell for walkup shoppers and serious customers who live north west of the mall by forcing them to exit from the south gate. Which lands them right into the hands of the carnivorous auto-rickshaw drivers waiting to extort hawk like for prey. Why should this be done unless the management is in collusion with these auto-drivers?
Repeated complaints have fallen on deaf ears or dumb management. We the walkers do not want to walk that extra kilometer to get back towards Mahalakshmi layout or Rajajinagar first block, Nandini layout Yeshwantpur etc.
All the retail store owners who have invested crores in their businesses in Orion mall should wake up to the threats such irrational and illogical management tactics which will adversely affect their business and customer relationship immediately and the managements future in the long run.
The management needs to wake up, identify and distinguish the Casual visitors who come sight seeing and enjoying air-conditioned comfort especially in sweltering summer. vs Serious Customers and shoppers who are not sheep to be shepherded.
