Oppo phoes are being marketed heavily in Indian market as a modest alternative to high end phones. They have roped Hritik Roshan as the Brand ambasador. You must have also seen the brand as a sponsor in popular shows like Big Boss. But is the really that Good as it is being marketted. I used the phone for a week and my review based on that.
Likes:
Phone does look good and some times that is a problem. Specs are fine. The selfie camera is really good.
Dislikes:
As I said the phone looks good and it looks similar to iPhone. I got many reactions from friends saying - Hey did you get a new iPhone. Though the phone specs are much better than many new brands out there but still it leaves some points out. I played games on it for a stretch if time and it showed a slight lag. Also the vidibility in a daylight is not as clear. I found the selfie camera very good but the main camera photos are not that crisp. On zooming in they tend to get pixeleted.
Final Verdict:
For a lot of people this can be a hiod phone at this rangw of price of 14000 INR. But preferences vary. For me 14000 is too big a price to go for it. One can add a little for to get an more efective phone. Also am not so sure about the customer care but I think it will be much better than other new entrant in the mobile phone sectors.
