The price of the Oppo A52 is capped at Rs.14, 990. There are no doubts that this price is a pretty decent price point for any smartphone. However, I had bigger problems with this phone that goes beyond the price point. It is powered by Snapdragon 665 chipset. It is a 11nm chipset and as compared to smaller semiconductor sized chipset, SD 665 suffers through lag and overheating. It overheats way too much, way too early which isn’t very desirable. When we already have so many smartphones with much smaller and faster integrated chipsets, Oppo A52 kind of lags behind all of those.
Even though the phone comes with a 5000mAh battery, due to all the overheating, the battery drains too fast and the user needs to have the charger with themselves handy at all times. The main camera is a 12MP and a single 16MP as a selfie camera. There could have been major improvements in the camera department, as nowadays we can see even budget smartphones with a better camera setup than this one here.
For anyone who is looking for a powerful mid-range smartphones, there are better options available with better and much reliable features than Oppo A52.
