Its been 48 hrs exactly that I bought this beauty to my living room.
Since my childhood days I was fascinated by the popular devil who use to
promote Onida brand.That made this brand different from the usual televisions.
Although I bought videocon in 1990s because it was the first one to launch 25 inch screen size.
But this time around I opted for onida without any market research.
I must admit that I made a perfect choice.
This review is of the latest model named Movie TV.The special feature that it boast is it has a USB PORT.
So I am going to elaborate this review on the special features that makes this brand of TV different from rest of the breed.

Built Quality:- This tv in 'MADE IN INDIA'.That is sufficient .
No cheap chinese stuff.Built like a tank.Plastic quality is also
top notch.Finish is also glossy.So no issues in this department.
Picture Quality:- Colors are well differenciated.One is able to enjoy crystal clear details of the video.
No snow or screen distortion
apparent.I browsed through all the channels right from Discovery to National geographic.
Color accuracy is also good.
Contrast,brightness,color,sharpness all functions can be adjusted and controlled from remote as well.
Sound Quality:- It is one of the best.350 WATTS of pure sound.
Even on full volume there is no distortion in sound.
Bass & treble can be controlled and there is also equalizers function.
USB PORT:-One can download the movies from the internet and transfer them to the pen drive.
It can be plugged straight away into the USB port in tv.
I played various formats like movie clip,wmv,mp3,jpeg and it played
without any find of hassle.
Power consumption:- With the daily upswings in the power tarrifs in our country I am hereby specially mentioning about the power
consumption of the television.130 WATTS is what this tv requires to keep his belly on fire.
Music mode will make screen go black
and one is able to enjoy sound only without worrying about sprinting electricity meter.
Although there is no star rating mentioned
on the tv,but it wold be a great idea if Onida people looks into this aspect as well.
Spares & Service:- Till now I havent required any kind of service from the onida guys.Looking from the fit n finish I dont think
I will need to call them ever.
Verdict:-I can conclude satisfactorly that the devil was right in the 1990s as well as in the 21st century.
It gives maximum bang for the bucks.
It is far above the LGs,Samsungs,Sansuis of the modern industralized world.
