I have been an avid iphone user over the years. I recently puchased the one plus 6T 256 GB phone and do not regret my decision. It was a major transition for me to move from IOS to Android. The only major challenge has been the transfer of data and apps from my last iPhone to the OnePlus 6T.
Here are my two cents on the new 'flagship killer':
Design and UI- the phone itself looks sleek and stylish. I wanted to puchase the purple colored edition but it didnt have the 256gb option available. The-screen fingerprint sensor is an added bonus and suprisingly effective and efficient. It also comes with face recognition as a security mechanism. Many people have complained about the missing audio port but oneplus provides an adapter to connect a regular audio jack to the phone without any issues. They even provide a phone cover and screen gaurd in the standard package.
Camera quality- the photo quality coming out of oneplus6t is amazing, to say the least. However, there is no comparison to the photo quality coming out of a Samsung phone. The background blur effect is very effective and results in producing professionally focused photos. I didnt really get to experience the photo quality in night mode.
Battery life- the battery life on this phone is amazing! With heavy load usage thoughout the day, I manage to save around 30% battery backup by the end of the day. Heavy load includes watching videos, long phone conversations, internet surfing and social media browsing.
Speed and call quality- with 8 gb ram, this phone beats other competitors hands down! I have not faced any slow transitions or frozen screens so far. Call quality is pretty good as well. However, the speaker quality is not that great.
Overall, I am pretty happy with this phone. It is certainly giving a tough competition to other competitors, including Apple and Samsung.
