On 4th December 2020, my mother had noted high blood pressure 174/102 and had a history of TIA so our family doctor advised us to take it to the nearest hospital because of the pandemic. For us nearest is Omni hospital Kukatpally when I had called the front office the person who had attended was Ch Naresh Kumar, Front office executive, he was humble and has utmost clarity in sharing info had the patience to answer all my questions and he completely impressed me and looking at Naresh Kumar I had estimated the hospital in the same lines. Whatever challenges I had faced in turn I bothered Naresh Kumar and he is so humble to address all of them. I Request you all unless the hospital trains their Doctors, staff like Ch Naresh Kumar please do not go to this hospital. To my estimate in line with Naresh Kumar, it was a completely reverse mechanism there. I will share a few of my experiences with you.
We had reached the hospital at 10 pm and Er doc Karthik attended then my mom had recorded her spo2 as 89 he did not start oxygen because HRCT has to do it in spite of me requesting to start treatment, he did not do it. I did not understand what problem he will come across to start oxygen without HRCT.
When he got confirmation that we are getting the HRCT done then he had put oxygen without looking at the HRCT film. He was rude and does not know how to address him. Later he advised admission. The pathetic part is we had been to the hospital for high BP and cough, but he reported as fever for the past one week which was completely wrong.
My mom has been shifted to AC single room at 1 Am on 5 Dec 2020. I was chasing the duty sisters for HRCT report and till the evening of 5th Dec they didn’t receive and the explanation given was “there is only one doctor to write & type the report so its taking time” is it not funny explanation? I lost my temper then and I approached CH Naresh Kumar with the complaint of not receiving the report, AGAIN NARESH KUMAR HELPED ME IN GETTING THE REPORT. still, it took 36 hrs for the report to travel from the ground floor to the 2nd floor, Likewise for all other reports.
Hospitality services were worst they had promised 7 services and stressed upon informing that additional services apart from promised 7 are chargeable. We stayed for 5 days but there was not even a single day with all the serves done. They had served burnt milk, they served Bengan masala to patients. Likewise, housekeeping services too, they didn’t clean toilets for 2 days dust bin was not cleaned there are n number more to list.
At the end of billing, they charged for 5 bedsheets, but they had changed only twice in 5 days. Sanitizers charged 5 but gave only one. Nebulisation had been put for 8 times counting all the 5 days but charged for 13 times, overall 5 times extra. Rest all medical terms I didn’t understand so couldn’t check.
and the last in submitting the bill to insurance also Naresh had helped us.
Tried reaching the management to talk about all this but failed.
