’Kehte hain kisi cheej ko pure dil se chaho to puri kayanat use tumse milane ki koshish mein lag jati hai’.Is this not true....????When we are really really crazy about some thing how the things come true?? Just spend few minutes and question your own logics. and I am sure at the end you will be lost in a big ’WHY...&

HOW..’

Om Shanti Om, the movie started with the song “Meri umar

ki nau jawano……..” with Original version picturised on Rishi Kapoor

……….from the film “Karz” and directed by Subhash Ghai.I will not say

that technically the fusion of 70’s and 21st century was

brilliant. There was some problem in picturization however it was an

brilliant concept and good effort effort of Farah. But as far as story

was concern I found no flaws in that. Half the film industry is there

in the film with few scenes adopted from the yesteryear movies.Like

Karz and Madhumati(Dilip Kumar, Vaijayanti Mala)

I dont know on

what grounds people are criticizing the movie..Anyways..U can say..."Ki

Kahani puri filmi hai".. And I am not going to argue upon reincarnation

and so on ..so on..

Plot-

Om Shanti Om tells the story

of Om [Shahrukh Khan] and Shanti [Deepika Padukone]. Om is a junior

artist in the 70s. Shanti is the reigning superstar. He is her biggest

fan. He is in love with her. Om dreams of being a superstar, but an

incident changes his life forever.Om dies in a mishap, but is reborn

into the present day. He attempts to discover the mystery of his

demise…The general feeling is, Farah Khan has remade Ghai’s Karz from

Frame A to Z..False! There’re similarities, but it’s not a rehashed

version of Ghai’s film. For, Om Shanti Om takes you by complete

surprise at several points.

The first twist in the tale [Arjun -

Deepika’s heated confrontation, with SRK listening to this important

conversation] comes as a bolt from the blue. The second jhatka comes

slightly before the intermission, when Arjun takes Deepika to the set

of his film ’Om Shanti Om’ and the entire episode that follows, right

till the intermission, is spellbinding. That’s a brilliant stroke from

the writing[screenplay: Mushtaq Shaikh and Farah Khan] as also the

execution point of view.

When the opulent set is set to flames, it leaves you wide-eyed and awe-struck.

Such is the impact!

The

post-interval portions only get better and better! If the initial

portions are laced with humour [the premiere of ’Dreamy Girl’, the Manoj

Kumar episode, Ghai directing Rishi on ’Om Shanti Om’ song, et al], the

second half moves into a new zone completely.

It’s punar-janam

now, but thankfully, there’re no lightening, no fireworks, no zooming

of the camera on the idols of Gods. The drama builds up gradually. The

voices that SRK keeps hearing, the ’fire’ soon after the ’Dard-E-Disco’

track, the mother [Kirron Kher], an old lady now, chasing Om’s car

[reminds you of Raakhee of Karan Arjun], the flashes of SRK’s earlier

birth while receiving the Filmfare Award the incidents that make him

realize that his life was cut short in his earlier janam have been well

structured.

When Deepika re-emerges as well, he viewer is

confused, but the mystery is resolved towards the end, which, again,

takes you by complete surprise.

Why I liked This One:-

Now coming to the point what I like most about the movie, is the Hidden Emotions.I

am sure Farah had expected to find it on our own.Do we still we need

glorious words and dialogues, romantic scenes to understand what the

story teller want to show.

Just think about it

All of us

have something weird in ourself.Boys , generally , are crazy about gizmos

and gadgets , Girls about abstract things. As a mouthshut member, I am

sure you are crazy about reading and writing.

When I was watching

the movie in each and every scene I was feeling ki "Arey Mein bhi to

aisa hi krti thi."We all are somehow passionate about something or

someone. And If u know yourself,

you must be knowing that most of the time U are thinking about those things continuously ,

talking to someone even not in person ’Unintentionally’.

My favourite scene when Shahrukh was standing at the pool and was talking to Deepika...

People

were laughing at him... And He was feeling like king of the world. When

u really love sumone , you are really crazy about sumthing, People will

categorize you as a Crazy and will give you suggestions and all

that. They  will laugh at you .....they will gossip about you.Because

they are not you. They dont know your intensity.

When you achieve it :- You will be feeling like THE KING OF THE WORLD.

When

you dont  :- "You just need "A Yanna Rascala...’ Mind IT...!!" But at

the same time you know ki "hamari jindagi bhi hamarihindi filmon ki

tarah hi hoti hai.. End tak sab thik ho jata hai ...Aur agar theek na

hua ho to....."

"Picture abhi bakki hai mere dost"!!....

I

dont know ki Farah really intened to show this through her movie or

not. But while watching this movie I feel this. And I love this. From

the past many years , I was looking for a good movie, And I really liked

this movie.

Songs were amazing. Deepika is really very pretty.

One of her dialogue " jab tum paanch maale ki building se niche akar

apne pairon par khade ho jate ho OM to mein yakeen krti hun , hawa mein

udte ho, paani par chalte ho to main yakeen krti hun, to tumne ye kaise

soch liya ki is baat par yakeen nahin karungi"

The dialouge, It

wasnot that artfully written but the way she delieverd it quite

amazing. And its true.. About love every body know  "Love is  Blind ".

Same is with other things, we knew Pros and Cons of each and every

thing still we go for our passion.......

Why????? As I said

above...Just spend few minutes and question your own logics. and I am

sure at the end you will be lost in a big ’WHY...& HOW..’
