I have been using this camera for the past 1year and is here to tell something I felt about this camera.
The first and the foremost thing that attracted me was 24x zooming camera lens and with the 1 year usage Iam satisfied with the zooming of the camera, it works finely.
Talking about the images that captured- it lacked texture and gives us a waxy look. But it powered with an inbuilt Wifi which allowed me transfer the pictures easily into my smart phone. Noise reproduction could be improved somewhat. The shots are Okay upto about ISO 800
Talking about the exterior its partially metal built with a faux plastic wrap around it. It also has a grip infront and I found it is comfortable in my hands. Also there is neck strap instead of the wrist strap which I found good.
The device is powered with touchscreen service and the combination of neck strap along with touch screen made me somewhat angry as many unintended photos were taken.
The price is a bit high when compared with Nikon S9700 which has 30x zoom has also an inbuilt GPS which SH 1 lacks.
If you are in love with SH1's retro look you can buy this camera but it is not the best camera in its class.
