I have been using OLX.in for more than 5 years now. OLX is better than competitors like quickr and others because the site is easy to use and loads faster. The overall layout is also simple and the parameters are far more logical than others.
Usage
I use this site for checking the following:
Used cars
Used bikes
Computer/laptop accessories
House for sale
Land
Mobile phones
And many other things.
Easy Layout
Their layout is so simple to use and you can get results as per your needs.
You can search in a city
In a specific price range
Sort the results according to latest date or lowest/highest price
Search vehicles based on brands
All these parameters are available on top, unlike in other sites which offer them on the left side. So, I don't have to scroll down to find the parameters.
Faster Loading
I have slow net connections and OLX is just the perfect site for me. It loads fast unlike other sites which are heavier. So, if you have speed concerns, it is again better to choose OLX than others.
Some Negative Points
2 months ago OLX allowed us to contact advertisers directly using a mail box. But they discontinued that service. On asking they said that I should install their app on my mobile to chat with the advertisers. They discontinued their mail form. That's bad because I am not a mobile app guy who keeps clicking and tapping on this mobile. Mobiles are not meant for writing messages.
Cities - They have included so many useless cities in their list. I asked them to add 2 major cities in my state around a year ago. They replied in the message that they will add them. Instead, they updated the list but with towns where there were no ads. So, apparently they lack some geographic and demographic knowledge.
Otherwise, its the best service of its kind out there.
