There are two specific cases that would like to point out:
A. OLA SHARE PASS - recently decided to use share cabs for regular travel and hence started using the services and for the regular journey from residence to office in the morning my payable fare was in the range of 120-130. since with share pass they charged me the same 120 and when I contended and said that the share pass enables me to undertake a journey of 8 kms in 60 rupees and over and above that normal micra rates apply which is 8/km and 1/minute. the distance being roughly 10 kms and a toll fee of 60 rupees. My contention was without the share pass I was paying 120 then why waste one share pass ride and ask for the normal fare too. though it has been more than 15 days their customer service department has not been able to understand the issue and respond properly.
B. TODAY'S RIDE - the app showed the cab is just one minute away and had to call the driver 4 times and finally he arrived after 25 mins. I am surprised how can the service provider waste so much time of a consumer.
With these two experiences should I continue to use such a service or should I start using my own car?
