Here I am telling you another story of worst service by OLA cab services.
Few days ago, I signed up for the OLA cab service on my android mobile & I was given a 200 rupee promo code for availing first free ride by OLA through SMS.I used the cab service via cash payment method for the first time & applied the given promo code successfully.
When I finished my ride, I was surprised to know that they charged me for the whole fair without giving any benefit for the promo code. I paid the full payment to driver. When I called to OLA support about this, then their representative simply said, ” You don’t have to make any payment to driver for this ride & it was a mistake from their side.”
But when I told them that I already made the payment, else how the driver have leave me. Then he verified this from their driver & told me that he will transfer the money in OLA money app which I can use in 2nd time.
I asked him a question that if they have charged me for the first free ride then how they can expect me to take the services from OLA the second time & being charged twice for that. I told him that I don’t want to use OLA services in future hence transfer money in my bank account/online payment wallets or to pay it in cash.
He told me that the driver will make you payment in cash. I told him to mail this conversation to me but he denied to do that. He told me that our drivers are very faithful & he will return the money in cash. I believed in his saying. He also cancelled my complaint on this assurance.
The driver also called me & told me the same thing. But it has been the two days since the conversation but the driver has not come to make payment. I also called the driver but he make excuses only.
I called the OLA support again on today & explain the whole episode & after the repetition of whole process she told me that my money will be credited in 24 hours via OLA money which I can use for next time in OLA.
I am still waiting for that credit.
This complaint is not regarding money issue, but regarding the faith we do on service providers like OLA due to their known reputation.
So guys, beware of the big ads about first free rides from OLA cab before signing up. Because you also may be victim of the technological mistakes like me & being charged extra.
It was my first experience on OLA cab & all I can say that it was a bad experience.
