The Olacabs and their rival Uber have changed the way we Indian travel. One can easily book a cab at the tap of a bottom at affordable rates, it's very affordable when we enter an unknown city where we often get fleeced by the auto rickshaw drivers. For a long time, it was easy for anyone to get an AC car at affordable rates, but recently when their user base went up Olacabs plays the game of keeping their prices up high at all the time saying that it's due to increased demands. The Olacabs proudly launched their prime play cabs which provide the experience of entertainment as you travel, but I have seen that either it doesn't work or half the videos don't play. I have informed their customer care several times but nothing much has changed. The Olacabs have support tab which shows up pre-written D5 templates nothing much happens. The Olacabs customer on twitter just follows the script blindly, they never solve any issues. The customer care justifies charging cancellation fee saying it's to compensate the driver for time and fuel, but when a driver cancels making the customer for hours together they are least bothered to compensate the customer, at most they will say we will take action against the driver. Either way, they are interested in penalizing either the customer or driver. Customer care executive once justified when a driver continued ripped of my Olamoney, it's validated with the driver and we don't believe our customer. I travel for the interesting conversation with drivers and hoping to match with interesting people during shared rides. The ride experience and app usage have been above average experience. Never to forget that Olacabs have made Urban mobility easy and convenient.
