In Bangalore, I have used Ola cabs through their app couple of times and I find that their charges are more than the rates prescribed by the Govt on per Km basis. Though their base rates appear to be less than the Govt rates, once add on rates under various categories are applied / charges it varies from Rs. 21.26 to 24.29 per KM on the occasions. Under the guise of convenience / demand, can anybody charge more than the stipulated rates?
