On my visit to Hyderabad, we decided to visit ocean park to get some respite from the sweating May heat.
This is a theme water and amusement park for kids. Ocean Park is situated at Gandipet just 15 kms from Hyderabad and
offers a mix of Water Rides and Amusement Rides for all age groups. The place is easily accessible by buses and also
through autos etc.
The kids enjoyed the day here. They loved the wave pool. The wave pool gives a simulation of ocean waves. A good
experience for people who do not live by the sea side.
They went multiple times on harakiri and Aqua Snake - water slide while sitting in a raft and which takes several curves and steep drops.
The water slides they enjoyed were aqua glide,zip zap zoom etc etc where you race down at an incredible speed to land safely into the water.
The rides are all safe for kids. The best season to visit is in summer when the kids can get away from the heat and get some respite enjoying in water.
