Oak Lounge is one of the best lounges I've been to in Pune and so the recommendation on mouthshut. Located in Oakwood Premier, Koregaon Park the place is small as compared to other lounges but the ambience takes you over once you enter the place.
Plush lounge sofas on one side of the lounge with a long bar on the other side having an array of high chairs lining the bar. the bar has an impressive wine display offering a wide selection of wines and whisky’s from around the world. the opposite wall is has wall caved in with small chinese statues in them and the lighting adds to the effect. They also have a separate closed room clear glass section called the Cigar Bar offering solitude to people who wanna smoke and at the same time not affecting other people. this feature must be added to all the lounges. the place is open from Tuesday to Sunday opening for guests around 07.30p.m and the night lasting unto 02.30 in the night with happy hours upto 08.30p.m. offering 30%off. Stags not allowed. the place can feel cramped up after the crowds start pouring in after 11. they also have Ladies Night Every Wednesday and Friday, from 08.30 to 10.30 serving Unlimited cocktails! they also have Latin Evenings
every Thursday where professional trainers will teach you how to shake a leg and a few steps of Latino rhythms - Salsa and Samba. The bar menu has a lot of variety of Classics and innovative cocktails on offer. We ordered Long Island Ice tea( a mixture of five spirits and a dash of pineapple adding a citrus flavour.) Across the World from their signature section was worth being called signature( bitter sweet whisky drink and a lot of punch in each sip) Jagger Bomb(another classic and they didn't go wrong) they also have a range of Single malts and other whiskeys on offer. the food on offer has not a lot of variety but sufficient. Smoked Chicken Bruschetta was a good variant(Chicken well cooked, lots of cheese an butter raisins on the top.) their wood fired Pizzas were great of which we ordered Pizza Formaggi( blend of four different cheese types, crust crisp and perfect) Pizza Della Casa(smoky flavour to the chicken, made spicy by jalapeños and a strong garlic flavour) the staff is quick and attentive and offer good suggestions. pricing wise its moderate and not much of an issue. a food place to unwind after a hectic week.
