General AC was always said to be excellent. Ou rpurchase was not a regret. The 1.5 ton AC actually is a 1.5 plus it seems. It cools really well, the draft of the air is fantastic and we have to keep it in lowest else too much air blows, they attend to it when called, the compressor is almost soundless ( not the same as it used to be 20 years back though ).
They sell it for a higher price than other Korean brands but its worth every penny we pay extra for it as its effective in cooling and blast of air is good and I have a gut feel it actually consumes less electricity specially after a few years compared to other brands. Keeping all angles in view, the AC is a good buy. I am yet to use a Split AC by general though I have seen it installed else where I am sure that must be good as well. General is not just general.
