Recently one of my friend switched her Operating system to WinXP. She seemed happy with it and I thought, I'd give the new technology a shot. Well, to my astonish, I found it to be the most pathetic OS ever designed by Windows, including WinME.
Well, not satisfied with it, I switched back to Win98, which I believe, is really cool. But suddenly, I found something missing. I have loads of softwares which I use and installing them one after the other is surely a pain in the neck.
I said, maybe I'll find out soon, about what has stolen my pleasure off my PC. No doubt, among all the CDs, one of my favourite CDs was missing. Winamp. Yes it is. THAT was what I was missing.
I really am not much into music, but I love listening to various sound clippings which at times comes in MP3 format and I've never dared to use a different MP3 player than Winamp. The reason - simply the best. Its got a great look, easy to use and good features including converting from an MP3 to a CDA file in less than a minute.
The other day I was reading some article on Winamp and came across an interesting fact, which I would love to share with all of you. Winamp was created by a 14 year old. What say? Ain't it interesting?
