This is not a first hand review of this spectacularly featured phone but a general review of the features that have been announced by Nokia. IPod hasnt yet made a mark in India and if this phone comes out within the next few months then it never would, people who do not know about this phone yet need to read the features below to know why. A two mega pixel (1600 x 1200), slider style camera phone including a 4 gigabyte hard drive to store and play music files. A true iPod killer! I'm pleasantly surprised to see that Nokia has managed to integrate a 3.5 mm stereo headset jack directly into the handset itself, negating the need for any cumbersome dongles. It supports MP3, AAC, WMA and M4A on the slate, Again with a USB connection adding music is just a breeze. Incidentally, the USB connector is a plain, non-proprietary mini USB port. Nokia has finally got its act back from 7710 with N91, among other things pausing playback when receiving incoming calls - and, importantly, resuming playback when hanging up. Also present are dedicated volume controls. Connectivity is abundant in the N91, which offers up GSM/GPRS/EDGE 900/1800/1900 MHz connectivity along with 3G for WAN scenarios. More impressively, Nokia has also managed to cram not only Bluetooth and Wi-Fi 802.11b into the N91, but also 802.11g; a previously unseen feat what regards mobile devices. The only concern is the price of the phone, the phone would be launched most probably with a price tag of Rs. 40,000 but for those who have the money and the need, should and would go for this phone. Sony and Apple beware!!!
