As anyone who looks for a phone falls in segments, Nokia belongs to either a stupid showoff who wants to buy the most expensive and talked about gadget or to the other discernible candidate who eats all that is served on the palette. The surprising thing that the latter comes to know after he gives away the dough is that he has to change and adapt to the phone.
I would like to put in just two irritating negatives and two unique positives of this phone, which go rather unnoticed. (This is just to make you smile and vote for me).
The negatives:
No vibrator for silent calls: What this means is that when you choose the silent option the phone does not vibrate, this is a must in crowded places and for those special calls that cant be missed even in the most noiseless meetings.
Templates: Now anyone who has been using Nokia phones must be used of templates as a standard reply. I am not talking about the simple Yes/No or Sorry but text that can be reproduced by pressing just 1-2 buttons. This important feature is missing.
Positives:
Its written all over it. Whether it is a smart Wifi or Office in your fingers (Well almost).
SYNC: The most striking feature is for a person who sits on the computer and uses outlook as an email client. This is a must buy for such a dude. This phone synchronises the best and can be a secret file carriage if you encrypt your date on the 256 MB Card. This too can be synchronised. By the way, this is one of those few phones that lets you connect to the phone and send SMS from your comp real time.
Wifi: Now this feature is for a person who has a wireless internet or lan connection at his home or office. This tool updates and facilitates connections in a jiffy. One can surf net at amazing speeds (depending on your line) and access email accounts pretty smartly. A must have for those stranded on airports mostly and travel abroad as a custom. I may go to the extent of saying: In this department you don’t have to take the pain of carrying a laptop on your delicate shoulder.
Nokia 9500 is a must have for stupid showoffs and for those tech-savvy maniacs. Although it is not even closer to what one expects from Nokia…it is an economical and smart beginning. Go buy it either ways, but not if you dont like carrying a phone in your hand or on the belt.
Smile a while!
