Nokia 7710 -the cool phone. Review on Nokia 7710

: When Nokia advertised the Nokia 7710, I thought it would be another one of its business phones,but when I logged on its website and read about its features I realised that it wasnt . Infact it was loaded with features like Camera , Video recording, Radio, Bluetooth ,Music player , voice recorder etc. The N7710 , has one of the biggest mobile screens so you dont have to squint Its provided with stylus for controlling. One thing to be sure of is people staring at the cell wanting to handle it. It sure is an eye-catcher and looks sleek and high-tech. The good things about the phone are the 1.3 mega pixel camera with 2x zoom and the radio which is great time-pass.I mainly bought the phone beacuse I wanted to browse the web on the mighty big screen when im out of my house. The phone being a series 90 phone...you wont find many applications for it , but when series 60 becomes outdated(that will take time) then series 90 will definately get more attention. Games is another factor.It comes with a full hand casino game...and if u got gprs..then u can download games from the nokia wap site. Its got a good web browser...and u can download true tones and wallpapers. You can play flash games with the browser..which if u manage to get is superb to play. The radio reception is excellent...although the term 'Visual Radio' didnt seem to mean anything to me. The music player is quite good ..although it could be more louder. The only thing I didnt expect...was the video player to be so ghastly. Videos can be seen but not clearly. The phone also has notepad,excel and you can create sketches too.The phone is a little bulky to handle,and might hang sometimes.It comes with an extra stylus incase u lose one,a small cloth to clean the big screen ,a leather cover, a great headset , 128MMC card ,manual,Nokia PC suite cd and a USB cable. The phone being large..wont fit in tight pants or jeans [by experience :-) ] If you find gadgets cool and can operate them well....this phone is a superb option. The phone is user friendly..and I adapted to it quite well.Writing messages at first will be tough...but soon u will get used to it ,infact typing with the stylus(the stick) is a great deal faster than other phones.Also,you can actually write your messages,its called handwriting recognition,and is pretty fast too. Ill give it a 7/10...(2 points less just for the video player) .If you can afford this phone...then GO for it..cuz I think in the future this phone is going to shine.
