NOKIA - Global Brand with Many Options !. Review on Nokia 6600

My first cell phone, which I took only one and half year back after mobile became a household name and individual possession for professionals, students and housewives etc.(now of course, our neighbouring vegetable vendors, tea stall operators --- that is, all and sundry) in metropolis like Mumbai, was NOKIA 3310. It was like first generation cell phone, though was pretty effective and then useful for my communication activities.

Unlike most others, I have been using the cell phone specifically for my professional use like communicating gateway to my clients in particular. In my present vocation of Recruitment Services with many overseas clients, the mobile phone has been a boon. Two new clients from Turkey established initial contacts with me first in a shop during last Diwali Festival and the other in a marriage function at a Juhu hotel. That time I had a NOKIA 3550 which was okay then.

Since I have a fascination for smaller size cell phone, I picked up NOKIA 8310 last year September from Duty Free Nokia Outlet at Dubai International Airport. Till now, I have been using this model, which has usual facilities including FM band for news and music access when I feel tired and look for some news or diversion. So far this mobile set has been useful and served my purpose pretty well.

With influx of no. of brands like Samsung, Siemens, Sony Ericsson, Motorola, Alcatel etc. and also new models being introduced in the market by most of them from time to time, it is often difficult for consumers to chose out of all options and select the right piece at right price.This amounts to right judgement while selecting the right model for proper utilization and also within the budget. Keeping this in mind, I tracked NOKIA Selection guide Find Your Phone to locate NOKIA models to my requirements. The result I received, has directed me to three models of NOKIA 9210, 6600 and 6230.

My preferred model are : NOKIA 6600 with digital camera with zoom, video recorder with RealOne player, colour TFT and advanced management features etc. and NOKIA 6230 possesses similar features like Video recorder/player, digital VGA camera, active TFT color display, streaming video/audio and digital AAC/MP3 audio player. Besides, the latter’s weight being 97gm, it is my preference for next change, although my known vendor recommends NOKIA 6600.

Now I have read lot about NOKIA 3660 as smart phone in this web site from several reviews and hence like to have further information on this model from other readers and visitors to this site based on their personal experience. As time is there, I intend to wait and decide on the model that suits my functional requirements most.
