The Nokia 3350 expresses extreme reactions in people. When I saw it the first time , I thought that it was pretty good looking. My initial reaction was not too dissimilar from most people's reactions as I was to find out later. For it's price range it's the sleekest model available.
As I started using it , I found out that it was designed for extracting oohs and aahs .The rhythmic backlight alert strikes you as soon as the phone starts ringing. The various covers available were all in multiple shades which gave it a different look.The chat feature is excellent as long as sms is free :) .The screen can accomodate 4 lines of text which is excellent for surfing.
This model continued with the famed Nokia simplicity - any user using this for the first time will not have any problem in navigating through the options. Also, another quality of Nokia - sound , is reinforced through this model! You just need a small hint of signal and the voice clarity is outstanding. I have seen people using more advanced models (in Samsung, Sony erricson and Motorola) and literally shouting into the phone. You would feel that even without the phone, the other person could hear it! :) This hallmark of Nokia is best reinforced through this model.
Add to all these features the famed Nokia robustness and the antennaless look (which is a great help in case u decide to play ball with it!)and you get more than your value for money.
Do check this out if your priority is just calls and not much fancy things...
