Title : get me an exorcist
Review : Nokia 2600 is really bugging me. Whenever I hold it in my hand I always feel that what was I thinking when I bought this piece?
It has got a colour display and polyphonic ring tone and nothing else worth writing about. firstly I have no idea, whenever I type a message in hindi and try to save it, the phone just restarts.
Even the predictive text for hindi is a ''big joke''. Also the storage space provided for reminders is insufficient (no more than 10 schedules). The phones battery life is pretty good but not as good as the sony ericsson, the speaker quality is also okay kind the bigest draw back is lack of gprs.
While buying it you may not pay much attention to this feature but trust me you will miss it. You have got 30 of the most boring ring tones you ever heard except 2 or 3 which are really good.
Accompanying them are some of the most childish and and obnoxious wall papers, for god sakes they have provided a tiger and rhino face wall papers and some cartoons. Because of lack of gprs you cannot download good screen saver neither any wallpapers so whats the use of the colour display.
What I say for 500 bucks more you get a piece with gprs and net connectivity. Final say go for 2600 for the key pad , colour display, sober looks, loudspeaker(hands free). And lastly 5000 rupees is the only amount of money you have in your pocket A better thing will be to go for the white display and the radio phone which is about (Rs. 2000 ) cheaper than 2600, or go for the a little expensive versions with gprs and all.
I don't remember their numbers. And if thinking about camera phone then definitely 6600. I got this cell phone on sunday 16 jan. I found this flaw with the software will take up this matter with the dealer. will keep you noted on whether the problem get solved or not.
