I will have to share my horrible experience with this website and app so that others don't fall prey to this fraudulent company.
I placed my order on 14th Nov amounting to about Rs5000/- consisting of some hair products, namely Olaplex No.0 and No.3; Olaplex No.0 was 155ml and No.3 was 100ml. Now, I received the parcel on 20th Nov right at 5:56 pm and just at the time of the handing over of the parcel, the delivery guy had warned me that the packaging felt very squishy and a bit off and told me to check immediately after. Keeping this in mind, I made sure to take proper videos and pictures of the opening of the package. The whole Sephora carton beneath the NNNOW plastic bag was freaking soaked in the liquid. The entire bottle cap/nozzle of the bottle was broken and the product had spilled out all over the packaging and there was nothing left inside the bottle. The second bottle was dented at the cap though inside still sealed but I wouldn't want to accept a dented product either.
Immediately after this and reeling from the shock of what I unpackaged, I called up their customer service number and was told to send the pictures on their email which I did. I even went on to attach the videos of me opening the package and they found a problem with saying that they don't accept 'videos' like wtf. If videos are going to bring some more clarity with the situation why should they have any issue with it? I was told that the mail with the videos is unacceptable and to resend only pictures and I did just that. Then I was told that it was not clear and resend it again. This whole thing of mailing back and forth took one whole day and about 5-6 phonecalls to the customer service. None of the customer service representatives are trained enough to handle any thing. One of the being extremely rude and almost implying that I was lying.
Now, why would I want to spend 5k on two 100ml hair products, wait a whole week and go out of my way to make it seem like it it came broken and damaged and try to get money out of it. Why would I want to go through all this trouble? I again had to call back a number of times on what resolution will be taken and was told that I will have to return back the bottles so they can validate if it is legitimate. Now their policy doesn't cover beauty and hair products for returns so I really don't understand what they are trying to do here whether they are trying to get away from refunding me. They keep bringing up if I want to 'return the package' when there is nothing to be returned except broken plastic bottles.
Now, it has been 3 days since I received the broken bottles and none of my products intact. I have all the evidence on my side. The message of when the package was delivered. When I opened the package, when I called up the helpline. All the timing and dates are there to establish my proof.
Amazon would've just refunded you without causing you such a hassle.
My message to all would be stay away from this website. They are a fraud and have extremely hostile customer service.
