I placed an order for two king-sized beds with side tables from Nice Maple on August 18th, 2023, along with a luxury marble top dining table and four leatherette chairs, ordered on August 21st. Initially, I was drawn in by the well-curated designs showcased on their website. They assured me a delivery window of 12-15 days. However, on September 14th, when the beds were finally delivered, I was shocked and dismayed by their appalling condition.
Upon receipt, I immediately raised objections and declined to accept the delivery due to the deplorable state in which the beds arrived. I promptly contacted their customer service, which advised against returning the items undelivered, as their standard practice involved addressing issues later when their technical team conducted inspections and repairs.
I shared detailed photos with their team, highlighting the glaring issues with the bed's suede headboard upholstery. To my horror, it appeared to be adhered with Fevicol glue and loosely stapled, as evident in the attached photos. Instead of using metal, substandard quality strips were used on the headboard and near the foot of the bed. The bed boxes seemed repurposed from older beds, with poorly executed joints. I invite you to refer to the images below to witness the lamentable condition of these items, resembling the craftsmanship of an 8-year-old child.
Despite numerous calls and emails inquiring about when their technician or team would visit for repairs, I received no substantial response. After a week of frustration, I was informed that they would not address my complaint, citing my failure to raise objections at the time of delivery, and subsequently, they closed the matter. Regrettably, I have yet to receive my side tables and dining table.
The total value of my order exceeds two lakhs, and in light of this ordeal, I have enlisted the services of a legal representative to pursue action against this fraudulent company. Their customer service team, particularly a representative named Akansha, has been an absolute nightmare to deal with. I hope that someone within Nice Maple takes notice of this situation and takes appropriate action, but to be frank, it appears that the entire company is involved in this deceitful operation.
I've noticed that the company posts paid 5-star reviews to bury genuine negative feedback from honest customers. I implore you to exercise caution and refrain from doing business with them. It appears that they are in the business of deceiving their customers, and I urge others to steer clear of this scam.
