It wasnt expected that the ICC cricket world cup tournament would go this way. Many records were broken and it was a tournament of batsmens rather than bowlers since after new rules were implemented. Some legends played there last match and will never appear again in colourful jersey.
But what a tournament it has been for the kiwis under the captaincy of Brendon McCullum. No one would have expected that the kiwis might go to the final. Yes this time they have made it for the first time.
The Current team appears to have some best pace bowling side along with a strong batting line up with Brendon McCullum leading from the front. It was my second favourite team after India and its good to see the team you support performing well at such an event. It is one of the Best Team of all times from New Zealand.
Now hoping that they might win their maiden World Cup.
