The New Jersey Shore is a great place for families to take vacations. There are several vacation spots in New Jersey, Wildwood, Cape May, and Rehoboth Beach to name a few. We usually visit Wildwood Beaches for our family vacation. There is a long boardwalk which is completely lined with shops where you can find anything you are looking for and usually at a good price. There are a couple of Piers going off of the boardwalk that have rides for kids and adults on them. You can buy individual tickets to go on these rides or you can buy a day pass and go on unlimited rides.
Another fun thing to do while at the New Jersey Shore is of course the beach. If you time it right the water gets nice and warm. We usually visited the water in the evening when the crowds start clearing out a bit. It is much easier to keep an eye on kids then. There are life guards watching the swimmers in the ocean for safety.
There are also other activities easily accessible while at the shore. Several great restaurants, ice cream stores, you can go out on fishing boats, sunrise and sunset boat rides, free zoos, and historical tours. Surely something no matter what you like.
New Jersey also has Atlantic City which contains very many casinos. Atlantic City is more geared towards adults than families. It is nice for a day getaway or for a couple of days.
We have always found New Jersey to be a fun, affordable family vacation destination.
I am sorry but I do not know the conversion for the currency given, we rent a condo for $450.00 for 5 days and spend approximately $200.00 on shopping, eating etc. while there.
