The school has several ways of extracting money from hapless parents:
It has put up a recent circular asking parents to pay for their children's uniforms for next year! This is two months before the academic season is yet to begin. The fees have to be paid in full, and parents have to select the wards' uniforms in two days! Earlier they used to get a month's time to buy uniforms from the premises itself. In the current academic year, they forced the parents to purchase Deccan Herald newspaper and enroll their wards for i-Qube exams, a little known and terrible examination system. They gave nothing in writing, everything was told verbally to students and parents. Also, they resisted demands from parents to apply for the Olympiad exams, and relented only when a large number of parents complained.
I am not sure what new demands will be placed on parents this year.
Note to Admin: as parents, do we have any government forum where we can complain against this school, while maintaining anonymity(so that our wards are not harassed)? Or do we simply grin and pay the fees?
