Having purchased a computer, I decided to get a net connection as well. I came across an ad in the paper offering connections that were cheap. I decide to call up Wipro and enquire about their product Netkracker Dial up.
Their marketing section contacted us and convinced us into taking up a connection. The registration process was easy and we were given our user-id and password.
We always get access to their server very fast and the speed at which we get connected is also good when compared to other ISP's. After a while the speed becomes intermittent- sometimes extremely fast and sometimes a little slow. Overall when compared to other ISP's it is good. Browsing becomes real fun when the speed is fast. Sending and receiving mails are also not a problem. You can do both with ease.
The package they provide is good and also cost effective. The customer support offered is also good. You are given a toll free number wherein they try to provide online assistance.Once the account is on verge of exhaustion, their sales person calls up and gets the account renewed for you.
The only disadvantage that Wipro has that it does not have its offices all over India and hence people find it difficult to contact them and also difficult to get the product in all cities.
It would be easier if Netkracker had offices through out India.
