Nestaway as a company is a fraud in terms of charging whatever they feel like, Providing poor quality furniture's(literally you can't use them) & are very unprofessional when it comes to resolving issues.


I had faced a rent payment issue in the month of NOV 19. There was no issue from my side(payment was successful) still the payment was refunded which I was unaware & hence fine charges where added on a daily basis. For me, the charges on the dashboard did not seem valid so the payment was not done. I tried to get this issue resolved but was not able to get proper resolution for a few months. After Feb 20 due to the COVID Situation nestaway services was limited so in the month of April 20 out of frustration I went to the app gave a 1-star rating on the app along with my review. On 13th April(tentative) nestaway executive calls.


The call was handled by Mr. Shrikant Reddy from nestaway.


1st) I requested him if he can justify each amount on the dashboard(by this time the fine charges were around 7500/-). Also mentioned if he can do that the complete payment will be done.


2nd) Since I'm Self-employed & due to the COVID situation, In the month of April I was unable to do any online transaction. So I requested if they can understand the situation and arrange for a cash payment as I had some emergency cash or if he can at least put a hold to the daily fine that kept on adding daily.


Initially, he didn't agree with any concerns. Later I had to share my acc statement & after 3 days of calls and lots of checking & request & explanations. On 16th April Shrikant calls and tells me that after verifying everything, They waived off 3000 /- which was wrongly charged & also he has arranged someone who will collect the cash from home. The rest fine charges were properly justified so agreed to do the payment also was happy as my payment issue was resolved. Before I hang up he tells me if he can close the issue & if I can change the review/rating. I told him not to do and to only close when the payment was cleared on the dashboard. He assures me not to worry and the payment will be collected on the same day & also if not collected I can connect to nestaway and ask to arrange for a call back from Shrikant as he knows the entire history & will help me sort the issue. So I was very happy with it said ok & also changed the review.


But later I don't get any calls or no one comes to collect a cash nothing. I Wait for a few days knowing the situation of lockdown. During this time the daily fine charges again kept applying and increasing. So I raised a ticket again. I didn't get any response for a few days even tried emailing several times no response(Screenshot attached). Again frustrated I change the view & I get a call from nestaway. Being pissed with such false commitment I asked to connect to their seniors which was denied. Also when I requested to connect to Mr. Shrikant reddy as he knows the history even that was denied. I was told that no such cash payment commitments were given by nestaway. I was shocked so I told to conform the call recording as all the service calls are recorded by the company or at least connect me to the same executive.


Later the next day I get a call and the executive said that no such commitment was given and I will have to do the payment(Which now was increased by 3700 additional fine) or else the fine will keep on increasing daily & no action will be taken. Also, the ticket will be closed as according to them there was no issue.


The ticket was closed without my concern. Shocked & pissed I tried contacting nestaway by mail/by raising ticket but to date, I haven't received any calls. As I was more worried about the daily fine charges I had no option but forcefully pay the fine. I have additionally paid 3700/- now.


Firstly their executive gave a false commitment. Even after telling to check for the recorded line they denied. Which was more shocking. Unfortunately, I didn't record the call so I had to bear the loss.


Moreover, I have also been charged twice for the water bill. There is no proper water bill or details on the dashboard shown. The furniture's provided by the company are such cheap quality they break easily(see attached screenshot). My flat has 4 broken chairs & 3 broken beds!.


All this has led to a lot of mental harassment & such an unpleasant experience staying with nestaway. For now, I don't have any dues at nestaway & really done with their services but I have paid an additional 3700/- which is not acceptable & want a refund. See attachments for the screenshot of mails, payment receipt & quality of the furniture provided.
