Useless customercare & Unprofessional managers. Review on Nestaway

The nest away building in E1/21 1st Cross Syndicate Bank Colony Arekare Bangalore, which is either labelled as olive or malasudhar pg is a place everyone should avoid.

The building has only 1bhk which is on the ground floor. They have used that photo for all rooms. It's nothing close to it in reality. Single rooms with TV, coat and attached bathroom. In the photos, it shows a modular kitchen with a sink but there is a kitchen on only two floors 5th and 2nd where you have to wash in the bathroom of that room, the condition was horrible. They have converted one room to the kitchen by putting a couple of tables, stoves and cylinders. We were forced to wash in the bathroom of that converted room. It was horrible.

When I highlighted to their useless customer care with photos they said that it is not the same as photos you can take a transfer to another property but the manager has to certify for free transfer like they don't trust us even after showing photos and videos.

We again tried to highlight the issue of the sink to customer care but they said that we will inform the property manager who will tell the owner to do it if he doesn't you can move out to another property.

We don't care then closed the ticket with no follow-up. Nothing changed. The place was hell. Nestaway ran an office on the terrace which had no direct lift. They used to go through our floor, 5th floor. No one wore a mask, people used around 30 to come in and go out every day. Visitors used to come onto our floor then peak into our room. Nestaway people used to steal our cool drinks from our fridge.

The place had no security. Cctv is not working. The theft happened frequently. Many of us lost our shoe couple of utensils from the kitchen. Security said I have no night duty so I don't care who comes in the night. Even justified saying that even they lost things. Nestaway guys in the office made jokes about it and laughed when we mentioned it. Interestingly property manager stayed in the same building on the ground floor next to the security guard and used to party n the terrace every night

The security guard was mostly a lady and her husband who used to go out for work outside. He misbehaved with a lady staying 401 asking inappropriate questions after being drunk, used to come drunk every day. The girl in 404 smoked weed, cleaned her dog and used to feed it in the corridor. There is the kind of people they started giving to fill numbers. One Nestaway staff asked me if guy 506 and girl 201 were having sex? Seriously I refused to answer. Both are my friends but I never used to bother what others do inside their room.

I moved out of the place after neither the customer care nor people in the office did anything about the issue. The Horror experience didn't stop. I moved to a new property, after taking the transfer they charged 4900 for cleaning in the previous property.

I was forced to take internal after theft kept happening in the previous property. The way the Security lady was talking it's they opened the gate for the thief. If I move out I won't get a deposit just like most of you. Their useless customer care said that we apologize for that, we are not responsible for such incidents. Like if someone walks in the night rape or murder they will say the same. So they refused to give free transfer.

There is house ID 7198 Debasish Nest in New Regency Colony, Hallehalli Bangalore, Behind Samuel Public school. When I visited the property in March everything was perfect. Everything was intact. When I booked the property in August the manager(vima narayan) asked me to cancel saying the house owner have given it directly to someone else. He even convinced the customer care(they anyway believe managers more than tenants)

Later we got to know that he have given it to a group of guys who were(6 people were staying) illegally staying in a small basement room after making duplicates without telling nestaway or the house owner. These guys used to drink and smoke up then destroyed the entire property.

I booked Sagarika Joshi nest house ID 60060 2 months later in the same address, same compound adjutant basement room in the next building in the same compound. This time new manager took charge who had no idea of the property. The same guys were still staying and creating a nuisance affecting their own sleep and peace. It went on for a month.

The property I moved in was very much different from the one I visited in March while moving in October. The TV was replaced with broken one, switch board broken, induction missing, and DTH missing. House owner told me later that he wasn't aware of the people staying there. He wasn't in Bangalore and was travelling staying in some other place.

I have been away and staying outside city since may 2022 but in my absence, nest away people have been using my property for illegal activities such as drinking and smoking among other things, the person has even stolen my debit card and other which is in the room, they are:

1) gold chain

2) debit card

3) earpod earphones

4) 500 rupees cash

5) dth setup box

I have been away from bangalore due to work-related commitments since april 2022. One key is with me and other key is with the nestaway manager.The person stole my debit then did a transaction in Sri Thrinethra Opticals 84/2, 1st Main, 7th Cross, Maruthi Nagar, Madiwala, I will coming only in august 1st week but the photos shared by neighbour shows that there have been illegal occupants using it in my absence.

After learning people using the property I couriered the key to my friend who send me photos which is attached.There are two keys one with nestaway and other key is with the neighbour. I have filed police complaint with police. but the area manager Raghavendra(7337888107) have been shielding the house owner Mahendra Bhonsole asking him to stay under cover with phone switched off to avoid police proesecution, told me he is in Mumbai and he is the one who gave the key to the people to do use it illegally and steal things then refused to cooperate. He through his manager Mahesh(8867122208) to torture every day to vacate the house, then charged for damages caused by illegal party goers, painting(which was not done earlier) remaining 3000 will refunded by owner whenever he feel like but he is missing ever since shielded by the area manager.
