Back to my childhood days, memoirs of those enchanted vacations flashes.I used to spend my time merrily playing with my friends.Most of the day, I hang out at one of my dear friend’s home, where we both used to play, paint, sing and dance together. Daily at 4 pm, her mom used to make coffee .First she will roast the green coffee beans and later mills the same using a manual coffee grinder. That process will fill the house with a fresh fragrance of coffee. Lost in the smell, we both wanted to taste it. But coffee was strictly forbidden for children. Longing for the taste, I used to wave to the enduring aroma, I wish one day I will taste you…. ~Time flew~
Clock ticked 11 ‘o’ clock…It was the night before the exam. Oh god, still I have 2 more chapters to complete! My sleepy eyes forced me to close the book. But exam fear haunted me. Suddenly a soft hand gently touched my shoulder and handed over me a cup of filter Coffee. Indeed, A special cup of mom's love and power. I drank, it took my sleep away, my tired cells got energized at once and I headed back to studies with lots of strength….

In this world when everything goes instant, why not the coffee-! And now it’s been the ages of instant coffee.I began my instant coffee exposure with Nescafe.It satisfied me with taste, quality and aroma. After trying its products like Nescafe Sunrise, Cappuccino and Classic, I chose Nescafe Classic as my cup of coffee.
~Time flew~
It was a lovely evening.Outside it was raining.I stood near the window with a cup of coffee watching the pleasant sight.I was enjoying the smell of the earth.Slowly something was overtaking that heavenly smell of earth.It was none other than the aroma of Nescafe Gold.I smelled again, memories rushed back and confirmed that it was the same fragrance which I fell for years back.I wish one day I will taste you.I sipped, it was hot at first sip, strong at second sip, lethal at third and at final sip I wished for one more mug of gold.
Nescafe Gold is a distinctive blend of Arabica and Robusta beans.To give a rich aroma and smooth coffee taste they have finely roasted the beans.Gold is in the form of larger granules and not in the powder form.
Aroma:
Heavens. The attractive part of gold is its rich aroma. At first smell, you will fell for it. It beats all other Nescafe products in this aspect.
Taste:
Unique. Flavor is totally distinct from Classic. Tastes like a blend of filter and instant coffee. Bitterness is natural part of the coffee’s taste and with gold you get an added dash of bitterness. After taste sensation is pleasant.Opinion differs here a bit.My mom says it is too good but my dad says it is not so good.So I leave it to you, test it with your tongue.
Intensity:
Very intense .Gold is preferable for strong coffee freaks.
Preparation:
One and of half spoon can make a cup of thick coffee. Well, measure of spoon matters in case of gold as it has an extra dash of bitterness. It is better when served as hot beverage. For cold coffee, gold is not recommended.
Variations:
->Gold(For a strong coffee)
->Gold mild(For a light coffee)
->Gold Decaf- Decaffeinated.(For a healthy coffee)
Price:
The beans are an imported one, so it is very costly when compared with other products. 50g costs 135 bucks and 100g costs 250 bucks. Budget problem arises here. After all to have a rich coffee we need to spend luxuriously!
Quality:
So far I am satisfied with the quality of Nescafe products. Gold is no exception. Packaging is neat. It comes in Jars. Shelf life is also good. It doesn’t get damp quickly. Anyways for better results close the lid tightly.
To start my bright mornings, to fuel my exhausted evening cells, to awake my sleepy study hours, to enjoy a rainy day, to warm up the chit chats with my buddies, to wipe off my melancholics, to refresh my soul….all I need is a cup of gold!
