Ndtv.com | Not good at all. Review on Ndtv

Hi,

read some reviews here and visited the site just now...

ITS NOT GOOD AT ALL

why ?

First of all Designing is POOR they havent checked the site in Different browsers while developing..site behaves differently in different browsers...like if u view the site in Opera many things will not work. Like Menu Bar,News Ticker and many minor stuff..

and check in Netscape..New Ticker will not work.

and I checked their source code...in that following was written :

This site is optimised for frame-capable browsers like Microsoft Internet Explorer 4.0+, Netscape Navigator 4.0+ & Opera 3.60.

and believe me the site isnt fully compatible to IE also...

so now let me check other sections...

• oh only 2 resolutions 640 x 480 and 800 x 600 (mine is 1154 x 864) ok no probs I will download 800 x 600

  
  




• oh these are not wallpapers..these are screenshots taken from VCD or DVD rips...lol this is funny...

  
  

this is funny how can they put screenshots of movies as wallpapers and its not even 800 x 600

ok now videos..they charge some amount to view the videos..its ok if they are providing quality videos then some people wont mind paying for it

and finally News content...right now its updated...i will rate it good for news here..

hmm done...so overall I will rate the site as BAD site because its NOT user friendly..if they are providing news for world then their site should be compatible to all the browsers...coz there are people who dont use IE (like me) or some even use GNU/Linux or Free BSD..so what will they do ? install Windows to view the site ? hehe
