All talk no solid work... Review on Nasscom

Nasscom claims to be an NGO but unlike other NGOs it does not believe in being a non-profit earning. I am sure they do a lot of good job towards the promotion of the Indian IT industry but they should realize that they are not Gods and they don’t rule this industry. In very recent history there were a lot of raids on in Ahmedabad and some other cities on people using non-licensed version of software that by people who claimed to be from Nasscom. When the people started asking if Nasscom had the right to conduct such raids Nasscom plainly denied having any involvement with these raids. So many people were harassed and their business was distrusted. Mr. Mehta the head of Nasscom has a lot of political contacts and Nasscon rather than being a unbiased NGO is his profit making organization in India where the IT laws are yet not yet properly framed. I would advice people to be very cautious while dealing with Nasscom. It is all talk and very little work. I wonder how this company was able to rope in great people like Sam Petroda he in my opinion has great contribution towards India’s telecom industry.
