I started using the simplisubscribe app yesterday and it took me less than 24 hours to realise how pathetic the whole service is. There is no information on the app about the subscription process or anything for that matter. You have to guess or talk to the customer care executive. The chat option is useless and they quote ‘technical reason’ for everything which does not work. It is the go to response. I subscribed for milk yesterday and it was not delivered today. They deducted the money from my wallet and the status showed shipped. Still the milk was never delivered. When I called the customer care, a very rude person ‘Karan’ told me that the milk brand I subscribed to had a ‘technical issue’ and they will not be able to deliver today. At the same time, he smartly tried pushing the company’s brand for subscription. When I asked him why do you have other brands listed if you cannot procure he kept on pushing for the company’s brand. This person had a very bad attitude while talking to me. When I asked to cancel the subscription and refund the amount, he told me that even the wallet refund will take a day. That is completely unheard of. So they deducted the money even when the product was not available and updated incorrect status ‘shipped’ on the app. This executive had no answer to my questions. He also showed a ‘I don’t care’ attitude when I asked to cancel everything. The company has no right to sit on customers money if they cannot provide the service. Stay away for your own mental piece. There are much better companies in the market with well trained and courteous executives.
