This is undoubtedly the best soap ever made by mankind. There are soaps and soaps. Some pass off as soaps - though they are not. Some are harsh on the skin and make it dry. This one is definitely not. The natural sandalwood oil which is used in this soap is the one which makes it the King of soaps.
Over the years, I have a strong suspicion that the sandalwood oil content has been reduced. However, it still reigns supreme. I have compared it with other sandalwood soaps across the world from Europe to China - but none comes close to it. It has the right balance of oil and fat and creaminess. Very freshening in the Indian summers and quite okay for winters too.
Undoubtedly and unreservedly I will recommend. it. Have been using it for the past 40 years. The Mysore rose is not so good and so do not be tempted by that one.
