I have been Myntra's customer ever since they started the business. Used to very good and very customer friendly. Now they seem to have fallen on hard times. I ordered a purse for my wife and below is what happened -
1. They delayed the shipment by few days and then sent the wrong product(same brand though).
2. I immediately asked for exchange citing the reason as wrong product.
3. They shipped the exchange but on the expected day of delivery, the delivery person called up asking for the reason of exchange.
4. I told him that a wrong product was shipped therefore the exchange.
5. He asked if I had lodged the complaint with their customer care, informed him that I mentioned the reason of exchange citing the same reason.
6. He said he would not be able to come unless Myntra's customer care gives him a go ahead and marked "Quality check failed" on the product to be returned. He did not even visit and check for himself.
7. Used app for customer care(one cannot call them, only way is to use their app for a "request" to be called and they will call at their convenience). Someone finally did call after 15 minutes.
8. Explained what happened, she apologised and said the issue would be resolved within 6 days(not immediately or within 24 hours but 6 days)
9. Next days someone sent a message in app asking for a photo of the wrongly delivered product. They did not call or SMS or WhatsApp but sent a Myntra in-app message. Of course, I would not check the damn app every few hours for a "message". After 1-2 days I received a SMS saying the issue has been resolved and the ticket closed.
10. I was relieved that the issue would be resolved and checked the status on the app and then saw the message asking me to send a photo for their further action.
11. I was frustrated but sent the photo but no response(because they closed the earlier ticket).
12. Reopened the ticket on the app, now someone wanted to have the photo again with the tags(they do write their standard pre-written apologies etc).
13. Sent it again but till now no news, I guess they will wait for few days before asking for something else by using in-app message again. I am determined to now check the bloody app every few hours and not give them the satisfaction that they made a fool out of me.
Once(if) the issue is resolved(or maybe I will be forced to throw the product away and take the loss), I will delete this stupid app never to use again - ever. I am good with likes of AJIO and AMAZON.
