-Do not get fooled by positive reviews. Please go through the 1-star reviews first, the ones with 5 stars are repeated.
-The marketing gimmick is good, youtube videos, and the website, the professional messages, emails, and talking very smoothly.
-They never let you come to the cattery and select the kitten but only through WhatsApp video and they home deliver.
-Arpita said due to COVID the office is closed so they won’t be able to share the papers. 4th June 7 pm, The kitten is delivered in the rain in a scooty and not a car as told to me, The kitten eyes are watery and red told to me kittens are like that. From 4 till -7 June the kitten does not eat properly, keeps sleeping most of the time, eyes keep watering, does not meow clearly and Arpita tells me it's ok I trusted her for being the cat expert.
-7th & 8th of June we are rushing him to the vet unable to sleep or eat Coz it's hard to see such a tiny life going through so much in pain, Blood tests, IV fluids.
-The blood test report is bad, the doc says he has a viral infection and must have received it from parents if they were not vaccinated or from the other cats or kittens in the cattery as this infection spreads through blood, litter box and sharing same food bowls. The doc also says the reports are bad and he may not make it, but we can get him admitted.
-We lose our senses by then, I cry and yell at Arpita that this kitten is dying because of the conditions he was kept in or not proper breeding, she says they have a vet and will take care of the kitten and now to return, The inhuman part is told to us will collect him in the evening when I ask if they are out of senses they say ok hand him over now at New friend colony near the gurdwara to the same delivery guy they did not even let me know which is the cattery.
-Now I handover and I say I need the same kitten back after treatment as we are already attached as she was trying to get me a replacement and I replied he is not a commodity and if they are so good and trustworthy then to return the money and I will pay it back when I take him back again.
-On constantly following up Geetanjali who is in the management calls me and kinds of goes all if we paid you back why do you need updates and I told her it was never about the money and I need the kitten back. Now she tells me the breeder is refusing to give the kitten back on seeing the condition as if I gave him the infection and was like literally asking me to back off and I requested if I can get the details of the breeder because by now I understood they are not going to treat him she said we don’t share the information of the breeder and then I finally said ok don’t give him back but get him properly treated and I want to see that you are doing it, She said ok ill share the updates if the breeder shares.
-When I keep following up and they do not respond to me properly, I send them an email and let them know that I will get the animal welfare involved if they do not get him treated. Geetanjali immediately responded with a name Asif and number and asked me to speak to the breeder directly now. They say they are like OLX and I explain to them OLX doesn’t hide the buyers and the seller details. They hide the breeder details, so I am going to follow up with them and not the breeder. By then I kind of figured out that maybe the breeder is ‘Fur babies’ in new friends colony and when I take the name and ask if this is the breeder. Geetanjali says she only has the name and the number but not the breeder details. Cannot believe that they just let anyone with a name and number register to provide kittens?
-They now start sending videos of the kitten being treated and a doctor's prescription where he has turned into a female and 3 months now. Today 13th June I get a message he is no more, with the medical report and stuff. There is also a Mona Singh I do not know what role she plays.
I cannot even explain the pain and anger that we are in, we can never forget him ever, and had the breeders had done all the right thing we would still have our kitten with us.
