This is my 60th review.
I went for this movie for I didn’t have anything much to do on Sunday. Friends I tell this is a must watch movie. It’s more than what we can expect from a TAPORI Sanju Baba. I’m used to watching Sanju’s movies for the mere fun and no tension in life.
This is a no tension movie, like the dialogue Munna repeats “KUCH BHI HO TENSION NAHI LENA KA”. I am a strong believer in talent and the Father and Sons done a good job, it brings tears when b’coz of son’s deeds the father is hurt.
The story, like most of the Masala comedies, it begins like this, Son (Munna) who ran away from home .His father (Sunil Dutt) dreamt of his son becoming a doctor. It’s all fun the way the DHOBIGHAT transforms into a hospital to please his father. Coming to now that Munna is a BHAI hurts his father, like any parent in the real life. Now the real story begins, Munna makes up his mind that he’ll become a real doctor in life. The ways and deeds thru which he tries to achieve this full of humor and comedy.
One thing that makes this movie different from Sanju’s movies is that there is no Blood shed, its only love and caring for the needy. He’s got a Stethoscope instead of AK-47
Gracy Singh’s also done a decent role; she proves she’s got the looks and talent to pull the crowd. This is an AAM JANTA MOVIE. The way the things are seen thru the hero’s eyes is depicted wonderfully.
The movie keeps you laughing and the same time thinking about the actions.
Vidhu known for the emotional aspects can be felt in the touching scenes and the movie rolls with a world-class touch. Arshad Warsi (Circuit) and Boman Irani (Dean of the college) do and good job in this movie.
Recommendation
This movie is worth watching with your family and loved ones, don’t feel ashamed to how the movie makes you laugh and makes you cry. Open your mind and heart and enjoy the movies, this will be a pure cure to all the TENSION and WORRIES in you life.
Please comment on the fact that if this kind of movie was done in the WEST, won’t it be good enough for an Oscar. I did find the movie worth that!!!!
