No more Muncheeze Restaurant for me
Last weekend I had been to my cousin’s place to attend a family function. After the function got over we went out for shopping and shopped the entire day. On our way back home all of us decided to go to Muncheeze as we had never been there and also it was just 20 mins away from my cousin’s home.
Ambience* – The Entrance was OK, the place was not that clean and also was very small. We were very surprised to see the Restaurant Empty inspite of being a weekend and also an evening time. As the Restaurant was Empty we didn’t have to wait to get our seat. Interior was OK not that great.
Service* - Now coming to Service it was the Worst I have ever seen in Mumbai. From the behavior of the staff, I seriously doubted that they ever heard the word “Customer Service” forgot knowing what Customer Service is. We had to call the waiter multiple times to clean the table. And after a while when the waiter finally attended us his behavior was not at all courteous and there was no smile in his face too. It seemed like he was forced to attend us. I was so pissed off seeing this that I wanted to leave the Restaurant but my cousin insisted to stay on.
Menu - When I saw the menu card, I was surprised to see that there were not many Veg cuisines listed in the menu card as I am a Vegetarian. Finally I ordered Veg Crispy for Starters and Veg Paneer Shawarma and Tandoori Roti as I love Punjabi Dishes. The waiter told that it will take 10 mins. We were OK with it. We waited and waited for close to 30 mins but the waiter did not turn up. Finally when the waiter turned up after 35-40 mins with the order, when we asked him why he was late he said that it takes time to prepare the food. The way he said it was very unprofessional and rude. The worst thing was he did not apologize for the delay also.
Food*: The food tasted ok but was not worth the price that I paid. For me it was very costly.
Verdict*: If you want to experience worst customer service and ok food with high price then this is the right place for you.
For me it was a really bad experience that I had in muncheeze. I have promised myself that I’ll never go to this restaurant ever.
